Quote: "Pilots from the Sirius Unmanned Systems Battalion of the 118th Separate Mechanised Brigade have set an absolute national record for intercepting enemy UAVs. A single interceptor drone crew destroyed 61 Russian Molniya drones during one daylight period.
With this result, the team not only more than doubled its previous achievement but has also raised the bar for all of Ukraine's defence forces. Until now, the highest number recorded in the country stood at 44 drones."

Details: According to the brigade, the hunt began at dawn. The drone hunters brought down their first aerial asset at 04:10 and the last – the 61st – at 21:47. On average, the Russians lost one drone every 17.5 minutes.
The crew remained continuously at their positions for almost 18 hours. Despite the enormous strain and the length of the operation, the soldiers said they felt no fatigue. Adrenaline and the constant search for new targets kept them focused until the very last minute.
The servicemen added that Russian forces use these drones not only against military positions, but also to strike civilians in frontline towns and villages.
"That is why securing the skies and protecting our brothers-in-arms and civilians is the most important task," the pilots said.
The brigade thanked the crew for this historic achievement and also extended their thanks to General Cherry FPV for providing effective interceptor drones.
