A mine clearance expert from the international humanitarian organisation Norwegian People's Aid (NPA) has been killed in a Russian attack on Novopetrivka in Kherson Oblast.

Details: Prokudin said that the 24-year-old mine clearance expert sustained fatal injuries as a result of the Russian attack on Novopetrivka in the Vysokopillia hromada. [A hromada is an administrative unit designating a village, several villages, or a town, and their adjacent territories – ed.]

Early reports indicate that three other representatives of the NPA were injured. Information is being confirmed.

Update: Prokudin later reported that the number of NPA employees injured in the attack has risen to four.

They were hospitalised for further treatment. Two of the mine clearance experts are in a serious condition, and doctors are fighting to save their lives.
