Explosions rock Kyiv: warehouse catches fire in Darnytskyi district, people injured – photos

Explosions were heard in Kyiv on the evening of 25 June. Ukraine's Air Force reported a missile strike. Two people have been injured by falling debris.

Details: The Air Force warned of a ballistic missile threat, and subsequently of a missile heading towards Kyiv.
The city's mayor noted that air defence systems were responding in the city.
Update: Klitschko then added that debris from the missile fell in an open area in the Darnytskyi district.
He also reported that a fire had broken out in a warehouse in the Darnytskyi district.
The all-clear was given at 21:38.

Update at 23:25: Klitschko later reported that two people had been injured in the capital. Both were treated by medics at the scene.


The fire service reported that a fire had broken out in warehouse buildings in the Darnytskyi district, and that firefighting operations were ongoing.
