Russian strikes on Kyiv damage residential buildings and medical facility, people killed and injured – photo

Russian attacks on the night of 1-2 July have caused damage to several residential buildings and a medical facility in the city of Kyiv.

Quote from Tkachenko: "A residential building has been damaged in the Shevchenkivskyi district as a result of an enemy attack. A fire has broken out in a high-rise residential building in the Holosiivskyi district."
Details: Klitschko later reported that, according to early reports, five people had been injured in the Shevchenkivskyi district.
"Medics are working at the scene," he added.
Update: Klitschko later said that five people injured in the Shevchenkivskyi district are healthcare workers. One of them, a paramedic, is in an extremely critical condition.
He also added that a nine-storey residential building in the Desnianskyi district had been damaged, with people trapped inside.
Tkachenko reported partial destruction of a medical facility in the Shevchenkivskyi district.

Update at 03:47: Klitschko said that six people are known to have been injured in the capital. All of them have been taken to hospital.
Tkachenko then reported that one person had been killed, while Klitschko said the number of people injured had risen to 11.
Update at 04:15: Klitschko said that a market had caught fire in the Shevchenkivskyi district as a result of falling debris from intercepted assets.
He also reported a fire and the partial destruction of a five-storey residential building in the Darnytskyi district.
Update at 04:55: Tkachenko stated that two people had been killed and 16 injured in the Russian attack.
Tkachenko also added that 28 locations across the city had been affected by the attack. Most of the damage was to residential areas and civilian infrastructure.
