Man injured as Russian drone destroys combine harvester in Zaporizhzhia Oblast

A Russian drone has hit a combine harvester in Zaporizhzhia Oblast, igniting the machinery and injuring the operator.

Quote: "The Russians attacked a combine harvester with a drone during field work in the Zaporizhzhia district, injuring a 30-year-old man. Agricultural machinery and dry vegetation caught fire."

Details: In another district of the oblast, a residential building and a low-pressure gas pipe caught fire. One person was injured.

Emergency workers extinguished all the fires.

Background:

• Viktor Hordiienko, Head of the Kherson Oblast Farmers' Association, said earlier that Russian forces are deliberately destroying crops in Kherson Oblast, using drones to drop incendiary munitions from all sides of a field to maximise the destruction of grain.
• Russian UAVs struck a petrol station, a municipal utility vehicle and a civilian car during an attack on Kharkiv, leaving several people injured.
• Russian forces conducted four attacks on petrol stations in Sumy Oblast on the night of 2-3 July. The Russians also attacked a petrol station in Chernihiv Oblast on 2 July.
