Details: Syrskyi said Ukraine's defence forces were strengthening their capabilities to counter drones and increasing the number of interceptor drone crews every month, as well as their level of training and effectiveness.
Quote: "Automated turrets are being increasingly used in combat work. Last month alone, they destroyed 26 enemy aerial attack assets. We are also deploying a network of remote-control positions.
The search continues for the most effective models for using interceptor drones and tactics for their deployment. We are constantly analysing combat results and identifying solutions that show the highest effectiveness in repelling massive attacks by attack drones."
More details: Syrskyi said army aviation of the Ground Forces destroyed 338 aerial assets in June.
Separately, he added, Kyiv air defence interceptor drones destroyed more than 500 aerial assets in June. In total, more than 600 Russian aerial attack assets were shot down or jammed in Kyiv Oblast.
Syrskyi also spoke about strengthening anti-drone protection for "important administrative centres".
Background: Ukraine's Air Force reported that Russia attacked Ukraine with an Iskander-M ballistic missile, a Kh-59/69 air-launched missile and 86 drones on the night of 3-4 July.
