Russian drone hits rail maintenance vehicle in Kharkiv Oblast

A Russian drone has hit a rail maintenance vehicle belonging to the state-run railway operator Ukrzaliznytsia (Ukrainian Railways) during repair work in Kharkiv Oblast. Railway workers were not injured.

Details: The company said the workers managed to get to a shelter after receiving a warning from the monitoring centre.

Ukrzaliznytsia said repair work is continuing despite the attacks.

Background: In May, the Russians attacked a suburban train in Zaporizhzhia Oblast with a drone, injuring two passengers.
