A 45-year-old man has died in hospital after sustaining severe injuries in a Russian double-tap drone strike on a petrol station in Sumy on 3 July.

Details: Hryhorov said Russian forces attacked a petrol station in Sumy twice on the night of 2-3 July. After the first strike, the petrol station was no longer operating, but employees remained on its premises.

They sustained severe injuries during Russia's repeat UAV attack.

The 45-year-old man suffered severe burns to a large part of his body. He was taken to a medical facility in Lviv Oblast for further treatment, but died after three days despite doctors' attempts to save his life.

Acting Sumy Mayor Artem Kobzar confirmed the man's death and expressed condolences to his family and friends.
