Details: The damaged facilities include pre-school, general secondary, extracurricular, vocational (technical), professional pre-higher and higher education institutions, as well as an inclusive resource centre.
Thirty educational institutions have been damaged in the first six days of July alone, said Valentyn Mondryivskyi, Deputy Head of Kyiv City Military Administration.
Quote from Mondryivskyi: "The enemy continues to deliberately destroy the capital's civilian infrastructure. Educational institutions, kindergartens, schools – places where children should learn, develop and feel safe. Instead, the city is increasingly waking up to explosions, and children see destroyed classrooms and shattered windows.
War accompanies our children in their everyday lives, but we are doing everything possible to ensure they return to safe learning as quickly as possible. All the appropriate services in the city are working to repair every damaged educational institution."
Background: Earlier, Kyiv City Military Administration, in response to a request from UP.Zhyttia, reported how many residential buildings have been damaged by Russian attacks in 2026.
