Two killed in Russian guided bomb strikes on school and residential area in Sumy – photos, video
Russian forces have attacked Sumy with guided aerial bombs. One of the bombs struck a school during classes, when children were in a shelter. A separate strike on a residential area killed two people.

Quote from Hryhorov: "The Russians have struck civilian infrastructure in the city with four guided aerial bombs. Two people have been killed. They were in their homes in a residential area…
The enemy also struck a school. The children were in a shelter when the attack occurred."
Details: Hryhorov added that six people sought medical assistance after the attack, including three children.
According to Suspilne, around 40 students were sheltering at the school when the strike occurred. They were later evacuated.
Photos show that the school building was severely damaged, with walls destroyed, the facade damaged and windows blown out.
Sumy Oblast police clarified that there were several strikes across the city.
Quote from the police: "One of the strikes hit an educational institution. The children and staff were in a shelter and were evacuated. The building was damaged. One person was killed in a residential area and five others were injured, including children aged three, six and 15. At least seven homes were damaged. Another person was injured elsewhere in the city. The body of a person was recovered from under the rubble of a house."
Details: The police said a trolleybus was also damaged on the premises of a municipal company.
