Details: Slyusar said the crew of one of the vessels had had to be evacuated.
He claimed that the tankers were empty and that no oil spill had occurred, but said information about the consequences is still being confirmed.
Slyusar added that Russian air defences had supposedly destroyed around 70 UAVs while repelling the attack.
Background: Ukraine's Unmanned Systems Forces struck eight tankers belonging to Russia's shadow fleet in the Sea of Azov on the night of 6-7 July.
