Denmark provides additional €10m to support Ukraine's energy sector

Denmark has contributed an additional €10.66 million to the Ukraine Energy Support Fund.

Details: The new financial aid of €10.66 million brings Denmark's total contribution to the Ukraine Energy Support Fund to more than €78.5 million.
"This is an important contribution to strengthening Ukraine's energy resilience, particularly as we prepare for the coming winter," said Denys Shmyhal, Ukrainian First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Energy.
Background:
- Sweden has contributed an additional €120 million to the Ukraine Energy Support Fund.
- Earlier, the Swedish government approved a new €140 million aid package for Ukraine in 2026 to support the country's energy sector ahead of winter.
- In late June, Estonia also contributed an additional €125,000 to the Ukraine Energy Support Fund.
