Details: Journalists analysed a satellite image of the oil depot and concluded that three fuel storage tanks had been destroyed in the strike.
Meanwhile, Vitaly Korolyov, acting Governor of Tver Oblast, only officially reported one tank catching fire.
For reference: The Tvernefteprodukt oil depot belongs to a subsidiary of Surgutneftegas and supplies fuel to a network of over 50 filling stations operating under the same brand across the region.
According to Radio Liberty's Russian Service, even before the Ukrainian strike, those filling stations had introduced fuel purchase limits of 20-30 litres per person, while long queues had also been reported.
Background: On 9 July, Ukrainian forces carried out long-range strikes on Russian oil depots in Stavropol and Tver, around 500 km from the front line.
