Ukraine's Onofriichuk wins hoop title at 2026 Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup

Ukrainian rhythmic gymnast Taisiia Onofriichuk has won the overall 2026 World Cup title in the hoop event.

Details: Onofriichuk claimed silver in the hoop final at the concluding World Cup stage in Milan and finished sixth in the ball final.
Following the completion of all four World Cup stages, the overall winners in each apparatus were determined. Onofriichuk competed at three of the four events, missing the tournament in Tashkent.
She finished the season as the overall World Cup winner in the hoop event with 145 points. Her total was built on gold medals at the Sofia and Baku World Cup stages and a silver medal at the final stage in Milan.
The Ukrainian athlete finished 20 points ahead of Italy's Sofia Raffaeli and 35 points ahead of Azerbaijan's Takhmina Ikromova.
Overall, Onofriichuk won eight medals across the 2026 World Cup series: silver in Milan (hoop); two golds (all-around and hoop) and a bronze (clubs) in Baku; and four golds (all-around, ball, hoop and ribbon) in Sofia.
