Zelenskyy submits Serhii Koretskyi's nomination for prime minister to parliament
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has submitted to the Verkhovna Rada (Ukrainian parliament) a nomination to appoint current Naftogaz CEO Serhii Koretskyi Serhii Koretskyi as prime minister of Ukraine.

Background:
- The Verkhovna Rada approved the resignation of Yuliia Svyrydenko as prime minister on 14 July. The decision means the resignation of the entire government.
- According to Ukrainska Pravda sources, the Verkhovna Rada is expected to vote on the new Cabinet of Ministers (Parliament) on 16 July.
- Zelenskyy has stated that, following all consultations, he considers Koretskyi to be the most qualified candidate for the position of prime minister.
