Russia seeks to disrupt Ukrainian logistics near Lyman with drone and bomb attacks on river crossings

A Ukrainian military official has said Russian forces are targeting river crossings on the Oskil and Siverskyi Donets rivers on the Lyman front with drones and guided aerial bombs in an effort to disrupt Ukrainian logistics.
Source: Suspilne Donbas, a local branch of Ukraine's national public broadcaster, citing Vasyl Denysiuk, spokesperson for the 66th Separate Mechanised Brigade named after Mstyslav Khorobryi
Details: Denysiuk explained that the Russians are trying to exploit the landscape features of northern Donetsk Oblast.

The spokesperson said Russian infantry is losing the initiative and the ability to continue active assaults. Instead, Russian forces are using drones to strike Ukrainian logistics, targeting the crossings used by the defence forces.
Quote: "The enemy understands that the Lyman front is, in a sense, 'cut off' by the Oskil and Siverskyi Donets rivers. The Russians are trying to exploit this by constantly striking our logistics, crossings and bridges; they are attempting to identify where we cross these natural barriers and target those locations with drones as well as sustained guided aerial bomb strikes."
More details: The spokesperson also said Russian forces are bringing in more mercenaries to replenish heavy losses and are maintaining the intensity of their drone strikes.
Ukrainian forces are identifying and striking the positions of Russian drone operators in an effort to reduce drone activity in the area.
Quote: "We are constantly working on this. First and foremost, this means continuous work to identify and destroy enemy drone launch points in order to minimise their numbers and make it impossible for them to operate in this respect – so that the enemy has as few opportunities as possible to launch drones and strike our positions or logistics."
