Ukrainian high jumper Mahuchikh finishes second at Diamond League stage in London
Ukrainian high jumper Yaroslava Mahuchikh has finished second at the Diamond League stage in London.

Details: Mahuchikh entered the competition at 1.93 m and did not clear any height on her first attempt. She bowed out at 2.01 m.
Australia's Nicola Olyslagers won the event after also clearing 2.01m, equalling her season's best. However, she needed fewer attempts than the Ukrainian, securing first place.
Another Australian, Eleanor Patterson, finished third with a jump of 1.96m. Maria Żodzik and Angelina Topić also cleared 1.96m. The Polish athlete opted not to take her final attempt after an awkward landing on her previous jump.
Background: Mahuchikh won the Diamond League stage in Rabat (Morocco) at the end of May. She also recently triumphed at the Continental Tour in the Netherlands and won the Ukrainian Championship.
