Oil depot in Russia's Stavropol Krai on fire after drone attack – videos

An oil depot in Russia's Stavropol Krai has caught fire following a drone attack.

Details: Telegram channels report that the oil depot in the town of Mikhaylovsk, Stavropol Krai, has come under attack for the third time in recent weeks.

Eyewitnesses also posted footage from the city of Stavropol showing a column of smoke rising after the overnight attack.

Update: Stavropol Krai Governor Vladimir Vladimirov confirmed the drone attack, saying that "two separate fires have been recorded in the industrial zone of the Vyazniki area in the Shpakovsky district".

He also declared a local state of emergency.

Background: In early July, Ukrainian forces carried out long-range strikes on Russian oil depots in Stavropol Krai and Tver Oblast, around 500 km from the front line.
