One killed and eight injured in Russian large-scale attack on Kyiv – photos
One person has been killed and eight others have been injured in the latest Russian attack on Kyiv. Fires have broken out in at least five districts of the capital.

Quote: "On the night of 18-19 July, Russian forces once again attacked Kyiv. Early reports indicate missile strikes and fires in the Dniprovskyi, Desnianskyi, Solomianskyi, Shevchenkivskyi and Sviatoshynskyi districts of the capital."
Details: The SES reported on the consequences of the strikes and the ongoing emergency response.
In the Solomianskyi district, an office building is on fire. At another location, a nine-storey residential building was damaged, where firefighters are continuing to extinguish a fire covering an area of 200 sq m. A non-residential building is also on fire.
In the Shevchenkivskyi district, a fire broke out in a three-storey building, covering an area of 400 sq m, and more than 10 parked vehicles caught fire. Windows were also blown out in a nearby 25-storey residential building.
In the Sviatoshynskyi district, the roof of a house caught fire.
In the Desnianskyi district, a fire broke out in a non-residential building.
In the Dniprovskyi district, the authorities received reports of burning vehicles, a fire on the grounds of a non-residential building and a blaze in a four-storey student accommodation building.
Quote: "SES units and all the appropriate services are working at the scene."
Update: The SES later confirmed that one person had been killed in the missile strike on Kyiv.
Eight others were injured in the overnight attack.
