Russian drones strike Mykolaiv and Poltava oblasts, damaging petrol stations and industrial plant

Russian drones attacked Mykolaiv and Poltava oblasts on the morning of 20 July. Two petrol station buildings and a high-rise residential building have been damaged in the city of Mykolaiv, while a fire has broken out at an industrial facility in Poltava Oblast. Early reports indicate there are no casualties.

Details: Mykolaiv Oblast Military Administration said Russian forces had attacked the oblast in the morning using Shahed and Gerbera drones. Two petrol station buildings were damaged and windows were blown out in a high-rise residential building in Mykolaiv. No injuries were reported.

A Russian drone also crashed on the premises of a private industrial facility in Poltava Oblast in the morning.

Quote from Diakivnych: "A fire broke out and was quickly extinguished by firefighters from the State Emergency Service. As of now, the emergency services have received no reports of injuries."

Background: Russian forces attacked Ukraine with two Kh-59/69 air-to-surface missiles and 94 drones of various types on the night of 19-20 July. Air defence forces downed 81 Russian UAVs.
