Ukrainian border guards destroy Russian Buk-M3 worth US$50m in Donetsk Oblast – video

Fighters of the Phoenix unit of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine have destroyed a Russian Buk-M3 surface-to-air missile system in Donetsk Oblast.

Details: The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine reported that Russian forces were moving equipment toward the battlefield without proper camouflage. While in motion, the system was detected and struck by Ukrainian border guards.

According to the agency, the estimated value of the destroyed Buk-M3 system is about US$50 million.

The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine released footage of the strike on the Russian system.
