Kyiv Oblast declares 25 July day of mourning after Russian attack

A day of mourning has been declared in Kyiv Oblast on 25 July for those whose lives were taken by a Russian missile attack on 24 July.

Quote: "25 July has been declared a Day of Mourning in Kyiv Oblast. Tomorrow, Kyiv Oblast will bow its head in grief for the people whose lives were taken by yet another Russian attack."

Details: Oliinyk said the National Flag of Ukraine and the flag of Kyiv Oblast will be flown at half-mast across the oblast throughout the day of mourning.

Entertainment events will also be restricted.

Background:

• It was previously reported that Russian forces struck Kyiv Oblast with missiles on the afternoon of 24 July. A training ground where a weapons exhibition was taking place was hit in the attack.
• Ten people were killed and around a hundred injured in a Russian missile strike on a training ground in Kyiv Oblast on the afternoon of 24 July. Two criminal investigations have been opened over the attack.
