Ukraine strikes Russian plant, oil refinery and Caspian Sea ships – photo, videos
Ukraine's defence forces have struck a Russian military-industrial complex company, an oil refinery, a fuel and lubricants depot, transport vessels and a warship in the Caspian Sea.

Quote from Zelenskyy: "Ukraine continues applying long‑range sanctions in response to Russian strikes. Last night, the warriors of our defence forces hit targets across different regions of Russia that are fuelling this war."
Details: Zelenskyy confirmed another strike on a company in Kirov that supplies components for Russian weaponry. The facility is located roughly 1,200 km from Ukraine's state border.
"Also hit were an oil refinery in Tyumen, a logistics facility in Yekaterinburg, and a fuel and lubricants depot in Rostov‑on‑Don," he noted.
Furthermore, the president reported "very strong results with long‑range strikes in the Caspian Sea – including vessels used in military cargo shipments involving Iran, as well as a warship".
The SSU specified that its forces have hit a missile boat, two cargo vessels, a radar and an offshore oil platform.
In Rostov-on-Don, the Ukrainian forces hit:
- A 92N6E Grave Stone multi-function radar, which is an essential component of the S-400 Triumf air defence system
- A Tor-M2 surface-to-air missile system and a Pole-21 electronic warfare system
- Two warehouses storing FPV drones.
In the Caspian Sea basin, SSU drones struck:
- An offshore oil extraction platform at the Filanovsky field
- The Port Olya 2 cargo ship and the Begey general cargo vessel, both of which are subject to international sanctions and were used to transport military cargo between Iran and Russia
- A Project 12418 Molniya missile boat.
Background:
- Earlier reports indicated that a major fire had broken out in the Russian city of Rostov due to a drone attack. Military barracks were set ablaze in Engels.
- The authorities in Russia's Sverdlovsk Oblast also reported a drone attack, which targeted Wildberries warehouses in Yekaterinburg – nearly 2,000 km from the front line.
