Russia attacks energy infrastructure in Kharkiv Oblast, leaving town of Derhachi with no power

Russia has struck an energy infrastructure facility in the town of Derhachi, 12 km north of Kharkiv, using a Geran-3 jet-powered drone.

Details: Two 60-year-old men suffered injuries and burns as a result of the strike. Both have been admitted to hospital.

Following the attack, Derhachi has completely lost its electricity and water supplies.

"Engineers from Kharkivoblenergo have begun recovery work; however, due to the scale of the damage, it is currently impossible to predict when power will be restored," Zadorenko wrote.

Background: In May, Russian forces hit a critical infrastructure facility in Kharkiv Oblast, leaving over 4,500 customers in Derhachi and surrounding settlements without power.
