Russia attacks Kyiv with missiles: debris falls on residential building, three injured – photos

Russian forces attacked Kyiv with ballistic missiles on the night of 25-26 July, resulting in debris falling on an 18-storey building in the Shevchenkivskyi district and injuries to three people.

Details: In the Solomianskyi district, falling debris caused a fire in a non-residential building. In the Desnianskyi district, vehicles and a car park are on fire.

Emergency services were working at the scenes.

The Air Force had earlier warned of the threat of ballistic weapons from the north.

Update: Rescue workers reported that a warehouse has burned down in the Desnianskyi district, along with ten vehicles and a lorry in a car park. A four-storey evacuated building caught fire in the Shevchenkivskyi district, while a fire broke out and caused damage to a non-residential building in the Solomianskyi district. All the fires have been extinguished.

Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported on the morning of 26 July that three Kyiv residents had been injured in the Russian attack on the capital. One of them was taken to hospital and the other two received outpatient treatment.

The National Police added that three people – a woman and two men – have been injured in the Solomianskyi district. Medics are providing them with the necessary assistance.

An office building, warehouses and cars were damaged in Kyiv.

Investigative teams, bomb disposal experts, rescue workers and other appropriate services are working at the scene. Law enforcement officers are recording evidence of armed aggression and another war crime against civilians committed by Russia.
