New twin-Kalashnikov turret by Ukrainian company Roboneers is approved for use
Ukrainian company Roboneers has completed the codification process for its Shablia K-2 remote-controlled combat module.

Details: Roboneers unveiled the new twin-rifle turret only recently. The system was presented during an event organised by the Technological Forces of Ukraine.
"The Shablia K-2 consists of two Kalashnikov rifles (AK-74s) mounted in a twin configuration. The solution doubles the volume of fire and provides reliable close-range infantry support. Depending on the tactical situation, the operator can choose between firing the left rifle, the right rifle or both simultaneously," the company said.
The Shablia K-2 remote-controlled combat module is equipped with a three-camera observation system:
- a wide-angle daylight camera for reconnaissance and surveillance
- a narrow-angle daylight camera for precision fire
- a thermal imaging camera for night operations and low-visibility conditions.
The turret can operate via either a cable connection or a Starlink satellite link.
"It is a network-independent, self-contained system that can be easily integrated onto ground platforms. The power system includes a built-in backup power source and can operate either from an unmanned ground vehicle or an external battery with an input voltage ranging from 20 to 60 V, allowing the module to be installed on various types of platforms," Roboneers added.
The manufacturer also noted that the module's codification paves the way for mass supplies and large-scale deployment across Ukrainian defence forces platforms.
Background: Earlier, the Rys+ logistics ground robotic system was approved for use by Ukraine's defence forces.
