Zelenskyy arrives in Britain and meets new prime minister – video

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is visiting the United Kingdom on 27 July, where he will hold his first meeting with Prime Minister Andy Burnham since his election.

Details: The president was met by, among others, Ukraine's Ambassador to London Valerii Zaluzhny.

Zelenskyy noted that over the years of the full-scale war, Ukraine has been able to build "the strongest relationship in the entire history of cooperation with the United Kingdom".

"The key priorities are air defense, maritime security, and joint defense production – our cooperation that strengthens both countries. We value that we can always count on Britain's principled decisions, leadership, and support. We will continue working to further strengthen our partnership and enhance the security of our countries," Zelenskyy concluded.

• It was reported that during the Ukrainian president's visit, Andy Burnham intends to announce the transfer of Stone Cloak technology aimed at disabling Russian air defence systems.
• Zelenskyy said he plans to discuss the further strengthening of bilateral relations during his meeting with Burnham.
