Russians attack petrol station and energy infrastructure in Chernihiv Oblast

Russian forces attacked a petrol station and energy facilities in Chernihiv Oblast over the course of 31 July.

Details: In the evening, a Russian Lancet drone struck a petrol station in Novhorod-Siverskyi, causing a car to catch fire.

Hits on energy facilities in the oblast were also recorded over the course of the day. The extent of the damage has not been reported.

In settlements within the Novhorod-Siverskyi and Semenivka hromadas, as well as in Korop, drone strikes damaged residential buildings, vehicles, a greenhouse and outbuildings. Fires broke out and were extinguished by firefighters. [A hromada is an administrative unit designating a village, several villages, or a town, and their adjacent territories – ed.]
