Russia launches large-scale ballistic missile and drone attack on Kyiv Oblast: one killed, 21 injured

Russian forces conducted a large-scale attack on Kyiv Oblast on the night of 4-5 August using ballistic missiles and attack drones. One person has been killed and 21 injured.

Details: Tkachenko said the effects of the Russian strike had been recorded in the Bucha, Brovary and Fastiv districts.

Quote from Tkachenko: "Sadly, civilians have been injured. Medics are working at the scene, and all those affected are receiving the necessary treatment.

Warehouse buildings and production facilities have been damaged in the Brovary district. Warehouse buildings have also been damaged in the Bucha and Fastiv districts."

Update: Kyiv Oblast Military Administration reported at 04:00 that one person had been killed and five injured in the Bucha district as a result of the Russian attack.

Thirteen people were injured in the Brovary district, while three others were injured in the Fastiv district.

The State Emergency Service said the attack had caused large fires at logistics and warehouse centres, manufacturing facilities, commercial premises and other sites in the Brovary district.

A fire broke out at business premises in the village of Kalynivka in the Fastiv district following the Russian strike.

Fires also broke out at logistics centres in the Bucha district.
