Wildberries logistics centre catches fire after drone attack on Russia's Tula Oblast – photos, video
A major fire broke out at a Wildberries logistics centre in the Russian city of Aleksin in Tula Oblast following a drone attack on the night of 4-5 August. Wildberries is Russia's largest online retailer.

Details: According to Astra, videos posted by eyewitnesses indicate that the Wildberries warehouse in Aleksin was hit.
The company's press service confirmed the fire at the logistics facility. It said staff had been evacuated in advance and that the acceptance of new deliveries had been temporarily suspended, with parcels redirected to other logistics centres.
Milyaev said that a drone had fallen onto the grounds of the Wildberries sorting hub, causing the fire.
One person was injured. No fatalities have been reported.
Milyaev also reported damage to two high-rise residential buildings in the Venyov district and two industrial facilities in Novomoskovsk and the Uzlovaya district.
According to Exilenova+, the logistics centre covers an area of around 194,500 square metres. It opened in 2022.
The centre handled deliveries to Tula, Kaluga, Oryol, Bryansk, Kursk, Lipetsk and Ryazan oblasts and other parts of central Russia, and also helped reduce the workload of logistics hubs in the Moscow area.
Videos released online show a large fire engulfing a significant part of the centre. The full extent of the damage is not yet known.
