Details: According to the company, Russian missiles have completely destroyed two large warehouse complexes. Another missile struck Epicentr Ceramic Corporation's production site, destroying all its kilns and rendering the plant unable to continue operating.
A car park next to the logistics hub was also destroyed, and 20 employees' cars were destroyed by fire.
Production at the Epicentr Ceramic Corporation plant has been suspended. To avoid disruptions to supply, the company will temporarily move production to two of its facilities abroad. Epicentr also plans to launch another manufacturing facility in Ukraine.
According to the company's early estimates, repairing the destroyed production facilities will take at least a year and a half and most likely around two years.
The company said it is still impossible to determine the full extent of the damage and described the attack as a deliberate strike against Ukrainian manufacturing, logistics and jobs.
Background: Russia launched a large-scale combined attack on Kyiv Oblast on the night of 4-5 August using ballistic missiles and attack drones. The State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported that 14 people had been killed and 22 injured.
