Drones attack Russia's Yaroslavl, oil refinery reportedly targeted – photo, videos

The Russian city of Yaroslavl came under a drone attack on the night of 5-6 August. An oil refinery may have been targeted, according to posts on Telegram channels.

Details: The Russian authorities reported that Yaroslavl and the surrounding area have been "subjected to an attack by Ukrainian UAVs". As a result, the road leading from Yaroslavl towards Moscow "has been temporarily closed to traffic".

There were reports on Telegram channels of drones flying over the city, explosions and large columns of smoke rising above Yaroslavl.

According to these reports, the Yaroslavl oil refinery may have been targeted in the attack.

After conducting an Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) analysis, Astra reported that the Slavneft-YANOS oil refinery in Yaroslavl had been struck. The refinery has been hit at least six times.
