Ukraine hits two Russian oil refineries in Yaroslavl and Ufa and drone control equipment in occupied territory – General Staff

Ukraine's defence forces struck the Slavneft-Yanos oil refinery in Yaroslavl and the Bashneft-Novoil refinery in Ufa on 5 August and on the night of 5-6 August and two ground relay stations used by Russian forces to control attack drones.

Details: Ukrainian troops struck the Slavneft-Yanos oil refinery in Russia's Yaroslavl Oblast on the night of 5-6 August. A fire broke out at the facility, with three separate seats of fire confirmed. The extent of the damage is being confirmed.

On 5 August, the defence forces also struck the Bashneft-Novoil oil refinery in Ufa, the Republic of Bashkortostan. A fire broke out at the facility following the strike.

According to early reports from the General Staff, a combined processing unit and an L-35-11/1000 catalytic reforming unit were hit in the strike. The scale of the damage caused is being confirmed.

In addition, Ukrainian troops struck two ground relay stations that Russian forces were using to control Geran and Gerbera attack drones, located near Zaliznyi Port in Kherson Oblast and Olenivka in Crimea.
