Ukrainian drones strike two Russian FSB patrol vessels

The Security Service of Ukraine (SSU), together with other units from Ukraine's defence forces, has struck coast guard vessels operated by the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) in occupied Crimea.

Quote: "As a result of drone strikes on the port in Kerch (in the temporarily occupied Autonomous Republic of Crimea), two Project 10410 Svetlyak-class patrol vessels of the Russian FSB coast guard – Balaklava and Kerch – sustained damage."

Details: The SSU also reported a strike on the Slavneft-Yanos oil refinery in Yaroslavl, which had earlier been reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"Early reports indicate that four RVS-2000 crude oil storage tanks have been damaged, causing an oil spill. Two of the tanks caught fire. In addition, the key ELOU-1 and AVT-3 processing units have been damaged, with fires also breaking out there," SSU said.

Background: On the morning of 6 August, Ukraine's General Staff reported that the defence forces struck the Slavneft-Yanos oil refinery in Yaroslavl and the Bashneft-Novoil refinery in Ufa on 5 August and on the night of 5-6 August and two ground relay stations used by Russian forces to control attack drones.
