Zelenskyy: US will deliver Patriot missiles to Ukraine monthly, but not enough to meet needs

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said Ukraine has an agreement with the US on monthly deliveries of Patriot missiles, but the quantities are insufficient to meet the country's air defence needs.

Quote: "How can this problem be addressed? First of all, who has anti-ballistic systems? The manufacturer, which is the US. Can they help? We are working on it.

Will they allocate missiles to us every month – yes, we have an agreement.

Are these missiles sufficient? In 2026, I have already spoken about this... there are fewer of these missiles available in 2026."

Details: The president did not specify exactly how many missiles are to be supplied to Ukraine each month.

It is also unclear from his words whether this concerns a new agreement with the US or a previously reached arrangement that will continue to operate.

Ukraine and the US previously agreed on the supply of Patriot interceptors, although details regarding a regular monthly delivery schedule have not been publicly disclosed.

Zelenskyy thus effectively confirmed that the agreement on the continued allocation of missiles to Ukraine remains in effect, although the available volumes are, in his words, insufficient.
