One injured in Russian ballistic missile attack on Kyiv

Russian forces launched a ballistic missile attack on Kyiv on the night of 10-11 August. One person was injured in the attack, while a strike was recorded on the grounds of a children's hospital in the Shevchenkivskyi district.

Details: According to Klitschko, medics were called to the Shevchenkivskyi district.

Update: According to the State Emergency Service, two craters have formed on the grounds of a children's hospital in the Shevchenkivskyi district as a result of the strike. The building's windows and a gas pipe were damaged.

Gas service workers have repaired the gas leak. Children and medical staff were in a shelter during the attack, so no one on the hospital grounds was injured.

At another location, a strike caused a fire and structural damage to a warehouse. The fire, which spread over an area of 1,200 sq m, has been contained.

Rescue workers and other emergency services continue to work at the sites of the Russian strikes.

• At around 00:30, an air-raid warning was issued in Kyiv and several Ukrainian oblasts due to the threat of Russia using ballistic weapons.
• In addition to Kyiv, Russian forces launched ballistic missile and aerial bomb attacks on Pavlohrad and Zaporizhzhia. There are also reports of injuries and damage in those areas.
