Russia attacks Ukraine with 133 drones: air defence downs 111, strikes recorded at 15 locations
Russia attacked Ukraine with 133 drones of various types on the night of 12-13 August. Ukrainian air defence forces have destroyed or jammed 111 UAVs, while strikes have been recorded at 15 locations.

Details: From 18:00 on 12 August, Russia used 133 Shahed (some jet-powered) and Gerbera attack drones as well as Parodiya decoy UAVs.
The drones were launched from the Russian cities of Kursk, Oryol, Millerovo and Primorsko-Akhtarsk as well as from temporarily occupied Donetsk and Hvardiiske in Crimea.
Aircraft, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare assets, unmanned systems units and mobile fire groups from Ukraine's defence forces have been involved in repelling the attack.
Quote: "As of 08:00, [Ukrainian] air defence forces had destroyed or jammed 111 Shahed, Gerbera and other types of drones in the country's north, south and east.
Hits by aerial assets have been recorded at 15 locations and the fall of downed aerial assets (debris) at 16 locations."
Details: The Air Force stressed that the attack is still ongoing, with several Russian drones remaining in Ukrainian airspace.
