Russians attack businesses in Chernihiv

Russian forces attacked Chernihiv with unmanned combat aerial vehicles on the night of 12-13 August, hitting several businesses and garage complexes owned and managed by associations of vehicle owners.

Details: According to Chaus, Russian forces had attacked Chernihiv with Geran drones at night and in the morning. Strikes were recorded at several locations, and firefighters were working at the sites of the strikes.

"A Gerbera drone hit a petrol station in the Ripky hromada overnight – the ensuing fire has been extinguished. Houses have also been damaged in the hromada," he said. [A hromada is an administrative unit designating a village, several villages, or a town, and their adjacent territories – ed.]

Yesterday evening, Russian forces struck Horodnia with a Gerbera drone. A utility building caught fire and residential buildings were damaged. A 10-year-old girl was injured, suffering from abrasions and stress, Chaus said.
