Russians attack Kramatorsk: two killed and two injured – photos

Two people were killed and two others injured in a Russian attack on the city of Kramatorsk, Donetsk Oblast, on the night of 16-17 August, while a fire covering 2,000 sq m broke out at a local market in the city of Sloviansk.

Two people were injured in the attack, while two others were trapped under the rubble of a residential building. During search and rescue operations, emergency workers found the body of a man and remains of another person and cleared 1,100 kg of debris from destroyed structures. The operation has been completed."

Vadym Filashkin, Head of Donetsk Oblast Military Administration, confirmed that two people were known to have been killed in Kramatorsk as of the morning of 17 August.

In Sloviansk, a Russian drone strike caused a fire at a local market. The blaze engulfed 54 market stalls, as well as a two-storey house and a car. The fire, which covered an area of 2,000 sq m, has been contained.
