Quote: "Russia deliberately attacked an ordinary shopping centre in Kryvyi Rih and then struck again as emergency responders arrived."
"Such barbaric double-tap strikes are intended to maximise civilian casualties. They prove Russia's status as a terrorist state."
Details: Sybiha stressed that the Russian war criminals responsible for these atrocities must be brought to justice.
"We urge the world to act. Every such war crime must lead to tougher sanctions, particularly against Russia's military-industrial complex and its enablers, and stronger defence support for Ukraine," he said.
He added that Russia must be deprived both of its ability to manufacture means of terror and its ability to use them.
"Sanctions and interceptors are two life-saving tools. We need both without delay," Sybiha emphasised.
Background: Russian forces attacked a shopping centre in Kryvyi Rih twice with drones. The strikes killed 16 people and injured another 130, including 23 children.
