Russia loses 1,490 soldiers over past day

Russia has lost 1,490 soldiers killed and wounded, 68 artillery systems and 554 vehicles and fuel tankers over the past day.

Details: The total combat losses of the Russian forces between 24 February 2022 and 24 August 2026 are estimated to be as follows [figures in parentheses represent the latest losses – ed.]:

• 25,211 (+9) armoured combat vehicles
• 48,519 (+68) artillery systems
• 2,056 (+2) multiple-launch rocket systems
• 1,586 (+1) air defence systems
• 440 (+0) fixed-wing aircraft
• 354 (+0) helicopters
• 2,368 (+16) ground robotic systems
• 478,327 (+1,761) operational-tactical UAVs
• 5,052 (+0) cruise missiles
• 35 (+0) ships/boats
• 2 (+0) submarines
• 138,773 (+554) vehicles and fuel tankers
• 4,575 (+6) special vehicles and other equipment
