Ukraine and UK sign declaration on AI partnership
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and UK Prime Minister Andy Burnham have signed a declaration on a partnership in the field of artificial intelligence in Kyiv.

Details: Zelenskyy met Burnham in Kyiv during the UK prime minister's first foreign visit since taking office.
The leaders signed a Joint Declaration of Intent between the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and Ukraine on a UK-Ukraine Artificial Intelligence Partnership.
The Office of the President said the agreement is an important step in defence cooperation.
Quote from the Office of the President: "The two countries will work together to build next-generation Armed Forces and accelerate the development and deployment of AI-enabled military capabilities, which, among other things, will strengthen Ukraine's battlefield capabilities."
Background:
- During his visit to Kyiv, Burnham said London had approved a decision to share Storm Shadow production technology with Ukraine.
- The Kremlin said the UK's decision to hand over secret technology for producing long-range Storm Shadow/SCALP missiles to Ukraine is "adding fuel to the flames".
- Burnham responded to the Kremlin spokesperson's comments on the Russia-Ukraine war.
