Ukraine strikes Russian radar stations and training centre in Crimea – General Staff

Ukraine's defence forces struck a number of Russian military targets in temporarily occupied Crimea, as well as drone control centres in Zaporizhzhia and Donetsk oblasts, on 27 August and the night of 27-28 August.

Quote: "In the area of Olenivka (temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea), a Nebo-SV radar station, a P-18 radar system and the enemy's mobile communications equipment were struck.

Also, in the area of Frunze in temporarily occupied Crimea, a Mykolaivka radio-relay station was struck."

Details: In Sevastopol, temporarily occupied Crimea, a hit on a Russian military training centre was confirmed.

The defence forces also attacked Russian drone control centres near Uspenivka in Zaporizhzhia Oblast and Kurakhove in Donetsk Oblast.

An area where Russian weapons and military equipment were concentrated was also targeted near Krasna Hora in Donetsk Oblast.

The extent of the damage inflicted on Russian forces is being confirmed.

Following previous strikes, the General Staff also confirmed the destruction of a Kasta radar station in Karaichev, Rostov Oblast, Russia, on 24 August.

Background: On 24 August and the night of 24-25 August, Ukraine's defence forces struck Russian electronic warfare systems in occupied Luhansk and Myrne in Crimea, also hitting fuel, ammunition and logistics warehouses in Berdiansk and Prymorsk in Zaporizhzhia Oblast.
