Russian attack cuts power in Mykolaiv, halting trams and trolleybuses

A Russian attack on the city of Mykolaiv on the morning of 29 August has caused a power outage, temporarily halting tram services and some trolleybuses.

Details: Due to the lack of power, 37 PTS trolleybuses capable of travelling up to 20 km on battery power will operate on the city's routes.

Diesel generators will be used to power and recharge them.
Tram services and Dnipro trolleybuses have been temporarily suspended. They will gradually be reinstated on their routes once the situation stabilises.
