Two-year-old child dies in Kyiv following drone crash – mayor

A drone crashed in Kyiv's Obolonskyi district on the afternoon of 29 August, damaging a café and injuring a child. It was later reported that despite doctors' efforts, the child's life could not be saved. Another drone struck a non-residential building in the capital's Podilskyi district.

In the Obolonskyi district, a drone crashed in an open area, damaging a nearby café building.

Local Telegram channels report that debris fell in Natalka Park.

Update: Klitschko later reported that a two-year-old girl has died after being injured in the Russian drone crash in the Obolonskyi district.

He added that five people have been injured in the capital since this morning. Four of them received medical assistance at the scene, and one, an 18-year-old young woman, was hospitalised.
