Zelenskyy speaks with Trump envoys Witkoff and Kushner about their potential visit to Ukraine
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said he had a "constructive" phone call with US President Donald Trump's envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, including about their potential visit to Ukraine.

Details: Zelenskyy said a visit like this would be "highly beneficial" in developing solutions for peace.
The president added that he has briefed Witkoff and Kushner in detail on the situation on the battlefield, where "Russia's gains have been sparse and at the cost of huge losses", as well as on airstrikes.
"Our teams will be in close touch to work out the agenda and the most suitable schedule for further communication. I thank President Trump, Steve and Jared, and everyone in the United States who works to make peace our joint achievement," Zelenskyy concluded.

- In late July, media outlets reported that Witkoff and Kushner were likely to visit Kyiv on Ukraine's Independence Day.
- However, the long-awaited visit was postponed again. The reason was reportedly an increase in missile and drone strikes on Kyiv.
