Explosion at police station in Rivne occurred during bomb disposal operations
An explosion at a district police station in Rivne on 31 August, which killed one employee and injured three others, occurred while bomb disposal experts were carrying out their duties. A criminal investigation has been opened into the negligent storage of firearms or ammunition.

Details: The State Bureau of Investigation has launched a pre-trial investigation under Article 264 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
Article 264 provides for liability for the negligent storage of firearms or ammunition.
