Orlivka border crossing with Romania shut after Russian Shahed attack

Russian forces have attacked the Orlivka international ferry crossing on the border with Romania using Shahed attack drones. The crossing has been temporarily closed, while firefighters have contained fires at the site of the drone strike.

Details: The crossing is temporarily closed, and the processing of passengers and vehicles through Orlivka has been suspended.

The Romanian side has been informed.

Traffic is being redirected to other border crossings.

Border guards have asked travellers to take this information into account when planning to cross the state border.

The agency added that this is not the first time Russian forces had attacked this crossing.
