High-rise building catches fire in Kyiv following UAV attack, three injured – photos, video
Russian UAVs attacked Kyiv during the day on 1 September, injuring three people in a fire at a multi-storey building in the Misto Kvitiv residential complex in the Podilskyi district, while another drone fell near a residential building in the Sviatoshynskyi district.

Update: At 11:42, Klitschko reported that three people had been injured in the multi-storey building in Kyiv's Podilskyi district where a fire broke out following a UAV attack.
He said that a total of eight people had been injured and eight killed in Kyiv since the beginning of the day.
Local Telegram channels reported that the building is part of the Misto Kvitiv residential complex and published footage of firefighters extinguishing the blaze.
The State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported that the Russian attack damaged and partially destroyed the 12th to 15th floors of the 16-storey residential building in the Podilskyi district.
A fire broke out on the 13th floor and spread to the 14th. Firefighters extinguished the blaze.
Seven people were evacuated from the smoke-filled multi-storey building.
Details: An air-raid warning was issued in the capital at 09:49.
While the alert was in effect, the Air Force reported a jet-powered UAV over Kyiv and urged residents to remain in shelters.

Details: Klitschko subsequently reported the impact of the attack on two districts of the capital.
He said a fire had broken out in a 16-storey building in the Podilskyi district, on the 13th and 14th floors.
In the Sviatoshynskyi district, early reports indicate that a UAV fell in an open area near a five-storey residential building.
Emergency services were dispatched to the sites.
The all-clear was given in Kyiv at 10:35.
Background: Russian forces struck a railway depot and other railway facilities in Kyiv with ballistic missiles on the night of 31 August-1 September, killing seven people, including six Ukrzaliznytsia (Ukrainian Railways) employees, and injuring others.
