Russian drone kills utility worker and injures two children in Kherson

A 43-year-old employee of a municipal utility company was killed as a result of a Russian drone attack on Kherson's Korabelnyi district. Another utility worker and two children have sustained injuries.

Details: According to local authorities, Russian forces attacked the 43-year-old employee of a municipal utility company with a drone at approximately 12:00.

The man was taken to hospital in an extremely serious condition, but he could not be saved. His injuries proved fatal.

"My condolences to the family and loved ones of the deceased," Prokudin said.

Update: Kherson City Military Administration later reported that another municipal utility worker had been injured in the same drone attack.

A 31-year-old man was taken to hospital with blast injuries. Medical staff are carrying out further examinations on him.

Subsequently, the Oblast Military Administration reported another attack on the Kherson's Korabelnyi district.

At around 13:40, Russian forces attacked the area with a drone. Two children, aged 2 and 12, were caught in the attack.

Early reports indicate that both sustained blast injuries, while the older child also suffered a leg injury.

Doctors assess both children as being in a moderate condition. They are receiving the necessary medical care.
